ESTACA CFD Summer School 2026
1. Program Overview
ESTACA, a leading French engineering school specializing in transport, invites applications for its Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Summer School. Held at the Paris-Saclay Campus, this 4-week program offers a deep dive into aeronautical modelling techniques while exploring the city of Paris.
2. About the Program
The program focuses on numerical tools to predict aeronautical system performance. It combines theoretical lectures with practical lab work using industrially relevant software. Cultural & Industrial Visits: Includes trips to ONERA (French Aerospace Lab), Eiffel Wind Tunnel, Corsair facilities, and cultural excursions like the Château de Versailles and a Seine River Cruise.
3. Financial Details
- Program Fee: €2,100 (Exclusive rate for Partner Universities like IITM; Regular fee is €4,000).
- Inclusions: Fee includes accommodation, public transportation pass for Paris, all academic activities, and cultural visits.
- Exclusions: Meals, flight tickets, and visa fees are not included.

10 ECTS Credits. Modules include:
- Fluid Mechanics & Aerodynamics
- Introduction to Turbulence
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Wind Tunnel Labs
- French Language & Interculturality
5. Eligibility Criteria
- Academic Level: Minimum 3rd Year Bachelor’s students in Engineering.
- Prerequisite: Basic knowledge of Fluid Mechanics is required.
- Language: The entire program is taught in English.

Duration: June 22 – July 17, 2026.
