Erasmus+ Mobility Opportunity
IIT Madras – KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden
The Office of Global Engagement invites applications from faculty members for Erasmus+ international mobility to KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden, under the current Erasmus+ funding cycle.
A limited number of mobility slots are available, and eligible applicants are encouraged to apply within the internal deadline.
Available Mobility Opportunity
Faculty Teaching / Training Mobility (IIT Madras → KTH)
- Duration: 1 week
- Type: Teaching or training mobility
- Eligibility: Faculty members of IIT Madras
Tentative Teaching Periods at KTH:
(Subject to host faculty availability):
- 13 January – 13 March
- 16 March – 1 June
Final mobility dates will be finalized in consultation with the host department/faculty at KTH.
Timeline
- Internal Deadline (IIT Madras): 8 February
All mobility must be completed before 1 June, as KTH enters its summer break thereafter.
Important Note on Funding
- Erasmus+ funding is strictly for mobility from IIT Madras to KTH
- The funding cannot be converted, deferred, or transferred
- Unutilized slots will result in the funding being returned
Applicants are therefore advised to apply well within the internal deadline.

- Submit the completed form to Outbound@ge.iitm.ac.in
PhD Scholar Research Mobility (Brief Note):
There is also a provision for PhD Scholar Research Mobility (up to 6 months) under Erasmus+. Interested faculty members may nominate a suitable PhD scholar under their supervision.
