UNSW Faculty of Engineering's initiative provides international students hands-on research experience within research groups, building pathways to HDR programs including joint PhD opportunities with IIT Madras. Highly competitive program attracting top talent from partner Indian institutions.
3. Financial Support
- 💰 AUD 5,000 scholarship per selected student
- 📚 Tuition fee: AUD 1,000 (WAIVED)

4. Program Tracks
Single Research Track: Students work within UNSW research groups on 40+ advertised engineering projects. Maximum 3 project preferences allowed in application.
5. Eligibility Criteria
- Citizenship: International students holding Indian citizenship
- Institutions: Currently enrolled at IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, or IISc
- Level: Undergraduate (1st-3rd+ Year) OR Postgraduate students
- Academic Standing: Strong academic merit required
