We are pleased to share an opportunity from the Korea University International Winter Campus (KU IWC) is a unique academic and cultural programme designed for international students. It offers more than 40 credit-bearing courses taught by world-class faculty along with rich cultural and social activities, providing students with the perfect combination of learning and cultural immersion in Seoul, South Korea.
Programme Overview:
- Over 40 courses across Business, Humanities, Korean Studies, Science, and Engineering
- 3-week or 4-week programme formats
- Cultural activities, field trips, and social events included
Key Dates & Deadlines:
- Application Period: September 1 – November 14, 2025
- Early Registration Deadline: September 30, 2025
(KRW 100,000 discount; extended to October in celebration of KU’s 120th Anniversary) - Tuition & Registration Deadline: November 21, 2025
- Programme Period:
- 3-week: December 23, 2025 – January 9, 2026
- 4-week: December 23, 2025 – January 19, 2026 (Korean Language only)
- Dormitory Check-in: December 22, 2025
- Dormitory Check-out: January 10 (3-week) | January 20 (4-week)
Eligibility:
- Undergraduate/graduate students currently enrolled at a university or college
- Recent graduates may apply in some cases (with KU IWC approval)
Application Process:
- Complete KU IWC online application on the IWC website
- Pay non-refundable application fee: KRW 100,000
- Submit documents (transcript, passport copy, proof of health insurance) to kuwinter@korea.ac.kr
- Receive Letter of Acceptance
- Pay tuition & accommodation fees by November 21, 2025
Programme Costs:
- Tuition:
- 1 course (3 credits): KRW 1,790,000 (~USD 1,300)
- 2 courses (6 credits): KRW 3,100,000 (~USD 2,250)
- Accommodation:
- 3 weeks: Single – KRW 760,000 | Double – KRW 456,000
- 4 weeks: Single – KRW 1,087,500 | Double – KRW 652,500
Scholarships & Benefits:
- Early Registration Discount – KRW 100,000
- Re-enrollment Benefit for returning KU ISC/IWC students
- Alumni Scholarship for applicants whose parents are KU alumni

Accommodation:
On-campus dormitories available at CJ I-House, Anam I-House, and Frontier House (single or double occupancy). Facilities include shared kitchens, lounges, and study spaces.
