International Affairs Winter Programme 2026

Dear Students,
We are pleased to share the International Affairs Winter Programme 2026, organised by Sciences Po, Paris. This 2 to 2.5-week intensive programme offers students an immersive academic and cultural experience in international affairs and global governance, taught by leading Sciences Po faculty in the heart of Paris.
Programme Dates:
- Core Courses: January 13 – 23, 2026 (2 weeks)
- Optional Intensive Course: January 26 – 28, 2026 (additional 3 days)
Programme Options & Fees:
- Introduction to International Relations (Jan 13–23) • 24 hours (12 hours lectures + 12 hours tutorials) • 4 ECTS credits, €1800 • Covers IR theories, debates, and case studies; includes reading seminar
- Advanced Global Governance (Jan 13–23) • 24 hours (12 hours lectures + 12 hours tutorials) • 4 ECTS credits, €2300 • Topics: International Negotiation, Migration, Climate Change, Conflict Resolution
- Optional Intensive Course on Global Challenges (Jan 26–28) • 12 hours, 2 ECTS credits, €600 • Theoretical + Practical sessions, case studies, and final exam
Eligibility & Admission Criteria:
- Programme taught entirely in English
- Introduction Track: open to all undergraduates with an interest in IR
- Advanced Track: requires background in International Affairs, GPA ≥ 3.5/4, and motivation letter
- Proof of English proficiency required for non-native speakers
Cultural Experience:
- Scheduled cultural activities and one day trip included
- Several housing options in central Paris available to students
- International cohort with students from 10+ nationalities
Application Timeline:
- September: Information sessions begin
- October: Home universities select students
- November–December: Submit application + pay tuition & housing fees
- December: Pre-arrival webinar
- Programme Starts: January 13, 2026
