The Office of Global Engagement, IIT Madras, invites applications for a short-term research mobility opportunity at Nagoya Institute of Technology (NITech), Japan, supported through a special collaborative funding initiative offered by NITech for IIT Madras participants.

This program aims to strengthen academic and research collaboration between IIT Madras and NITech and facilitate future joint research and student exchange activities.

Funding Support

NITech has allocated a total funding support of up to JPY 600,000 for IIT Madras participants.

The funding can support approximately two participants, with flexibility in the number of participants based on budget utilization.

The support is intended to cover major mobility-related expenses. Any additional costs, if applicable, may need to be supported by the home institution or the participant.

While the program is open to all disciplines, priority will be given to candidates from Electrical and Electronics Engineering and related fields, in alignment with NITech’s academic focus and ongoing collaboration initiatives.

Applicants should demonstrate strong academic credentials and a clear interest in pursuing research collaboration with NITech faculty.
