Short Research Visits at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel

We received a Short Research Visits opportunity from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
Program Name: Short Research Visits of International Graduate
and Post Graduate Students
Program Dates: Flexible, during 2025
Venue: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.
Eligibility and Visits Requirements:
- The candidate must be a research student at one of the following stages:
Master/PhD/Post doctorate.
- The student/postdoc is enrolled in a study/research program at an accredited
international institution of higher education.
- The program will be open to students and postdocs from all countries and in all
academic disciplines.
- The student is not a citizen or a resident of Israel.
- Students enrolled in joint programs between an Israeli university and a
university abroad are not eligible to apply.
- Students who began their studies/research in Israel prior to 1 March 2025 are
not eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Student will receive funding for one trip only travel in 2025. The visit will last
between min. 2 weeks - max. 4 weeks. Funding will be provided pro-rata
according to the duration of the visit (see below).

Financial Reimbursement
- Flight: 2,380 NIS
- Health insurance: 120 NIS
- Weekly stipend: 3,500 NIS per week (calculated pro-rata as per number of
weeks)
The International Office will provide support via the academic units with the total
sum according to the visit plan. This sum includes all expenses related to the visit
such as accommodation, flights, health insurance and weekly stipend.
Application Procedure
Applications should include the following required documents:
- CV of candidate
- Letter of motivation and project/research description of candidate
- Letter of recommendation of candidate’s home research supervisor
- Letter of support from HUJI academic host
