Please note the following eligibility conditions before applying
 

  • Part-time, external and QIP candidates are not eligible.
  • Minimum CGPA of 8.5
  • Deadline for submission of application to IITM – 25 th November 2025
     

PhD: 
1. The student must have completed comprehensive viva exam.
2. At the time of the application, the tenure of the applicant should not have crossed
more than 3 years since registering for regular PhD, and not more than 3.5 years since
registering for MS (for MS to PhD converted candidates) and direct PhD.
3. Maximum duration of exchange is 12 months (minimum must be 6 months).
MS:
1. At the time of the application, the tenure of the applicant should not have crossed
more than 1.5 years since registering for MS.
2. The duration of exchange is 6 months (fixed).
