MS by Research - IITM & AARDO
The Master of Science (MS) by Research program at IIT Madras, offered in partnership with the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) scholarship, is designed for students seeking careers in research and development, particularly in rural development technology with a public policy perspective. This fully funded program combines research with practical application, featuring an interdisciplinary approach and a broad yet specialized curriculum. It equips students with the skills needed for both industry-focused research and contributions to rural development.

Eligibility
Citizens of AARDO Member Countries
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with a minimum of four years duration
Master’s degree in appropriate Sciences or a relevant discipline for a minimum 3 + 2 years duration
Good working knowledge of English with a minimum CGPA of 7 out of 10 or its equivalent.
