Requirements and criteria for admission to Joint Masters Programme in Sustainable Energy Systems

Eligibility

  • Students will be recruited through a robust selection process that includes an entry test and eligibility checks. This process is led by IITM, and will ensure that students meet the required standards for UKVI compliance, therefore mitigating risks of non-compliance. This programme is not open to UK students.
  • Applicants to this joint postgraduate taught programme must hold a recognised bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, electric, electronic, mechanical, industrial or similar relevant engineering or science discipline), or an equivalent overseas qualification, to the standard of a UK 2:1 or above.
  • Applicants from India must be holders of a bachelor’s degree, of three or four years in duration, from a recognised university in India. Degree classification will normally be expected to be at 55%- 60% or higher for 2:1 equivalency, or 50%-55% for 2:2 equivalency, depending on the awarding institution.
