International Conference on
Numerical Methods in Multiphase Flows

January 18-20, 2027

Welcome to ICNMMF-6 at IIT Madras

Considering the vast importance of multiphase flows in many applications ranging from medicine to aeronautics, and the growing importance of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) in multiphase flows, the conference series has already seen five successful meetings around the globe (Penn State, USA, 2012; TU Darmstadt, Germany, 2014; Tokyo, Japan, 2017; Venice, Italy, 2022; and Reykjavik, Iceland, 2024). We are hosting the 6th International Conference on Numerical Methods in Multiphase Flows (ICNMMF-6), to be held at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India, from January 18-20, 2027.

We are looking forward to welcoming you all at ICNMMF-6

Scope

The idea behind this conference series is to have an international high-level meeting, focused on numerical aspects with respect to the latest developments and needs in CFD for multiphase flows. Our intent is to bring together, for the sixth time, the international community in a focused technical exchange environment.

ICNMMF-6 will comprise plenary, keynote, oral, and poster presentations; plenary and keynote talks of selected outstanding contributions addressing numerical aspects in advanced methods, and oral and poster presentations on progress in numerical methods for Multiphase-CFD. There will be no manuscripts

As in previous conferences, we seek to place special emphasis on research needs and future actions from a methodological perspective. Thus, contributions should be concerned with recent developments in CFD technology, new research ideas, techniques, and directions.

The organizers are particularly supportive of and encourage the attendance and abstract submission by individuals in groups underrepresented in science and engineering (e.g., underrepresented minorities, women, and persons with disabilities).
