Welcome to MADRAS 2026

The Earth's climate is influenced by a complex system of processes occurring at different spatio-temporal scales. The meeting is to feed into the research focus of Geophysical Flows Lab: Upper Ocean and Atmospheric Boundary Layer dynamics in coastal regions and their influence on diurnal to sub-seasonal variability. The four-day workshop brings together experts and early career researchers from various disciplines to discuss field observations, satellite measurements, fine-scale and large- scale modelling, and fundamental process studies

Key Themes

Upper Ocean Physics

Atmospheric Boundary Layer

Ocean Biogeochemistry

Remote Sensing

Particle-Laden Geophysical Flows

Fundamental Process Studies
