Students who have not completed their degree from a majority speaking English country, as defined by the UKVI will be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a recognised English Language test.

The students should meet the following critera (A) or (B).

A) The IELTS requirement is 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in any band; (or)
TOEFL 88 overall with no less than 21 in Reading, 20 in Listening, 22 in Speaking and 21 in Writing; (or)
Pearson Test of English PTE Academic 67 with no less than 64 in all four skills;(or)
Cambridge English C1 Advanced Minimum overall score of 176, with no less than 169 in any component; (or)
LanguageCert ESOL SELT (UKVI) B2 'Communicator' with no less than 33 in each skill. https://www.gov.uk/student-visa/knowledge-of-english

B) The equivalencies for this from the Indian Standard XII English are:
80% from ISC, CBSE, and Maharashtra
75% from West Bengal
85% from Other State boards

Term 3 and 4: June 2026 to January 2027

Track 1: Taught elective courses and nearly year long co-guided project at the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston, UK

Track 2: Taught elective courses and co-guided project at IIT Madras, Chennai, India
