Dean's Message
About
Our office of global engagement (OGE) has identified two primary focus areas to forge a global partnership.
- We aim to bolster joint research initiatives, facilitated by mobility grants such as Jointly Funded Bilateral Mobility Program (JFBMP).
- We strive to develop Joint Academic Programs, with a particular emphasis on the Joint Master's Program (JMP) with our partner universities. We have our active JMP program with the University of Birmingham.
We are open to creating JMP based on our Interdisciplinary Master’s Program. University partners interested in collaborating with us can write to us: global.relations@ge.iitm.ac.in

Theme: Research and Poster Presentations by Jointly Funded Bilateral Mobility Program Awardees, JDP partners & other research collaborations
- Research and poster presentations by JFBMP awardees* / JDP partners & other research collaborations
- A brief talk on newly established schools such as School of Sustainability, Medical Science & Technology, Wadhwani school of Data Science & Artificial Intelligence.
*Talk time: 15 min per faculty, the research paper shall be about 6 pages.
Theme: Workshop towards developing a draft of JMP curriculum –moderated by Prof. Raghunathan Rengaswamy, Dean GE, & Prof. Satyanarayanan Seshadri
- All the IITM faculty and representatives from partner institutions shall identify the mutual areas of interest at master's level program, understanding of existing master's level courses and operations, and hence explore the possibility of new Joint Master's Program.

After June 15, any unreserved rooms may be released to the general public, so be sure to book your stay before then to ensure availability.
We are arranging the shuttle service to and from the event venue on the event dates. However, pickup and drop services can be availed at the hotel for an additional fee. Additionally, airport transfers can be arranged upon request at the hotel.
Recognising the dynamic nature of travel plans, we have arranged with our partner hotels to accommodate cancellations without any cancellation fees until June 15, 2024.
