We would like to inform about the various programs from U.S. Consulate General Chennai – Exchange Programs.
Following are the details of the exchange programs:
- 2023-2024 Gandhi-King Scholarly Exchange Initiative (G-KSEI) – Application deadline – January 31, 2023
- 2023 Study of the U.S. Institutes for Global Student Leaders (SUSI-GSL) – Application Deadline: December 15, 2022
- 2023-2024 Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) – Application Deadline: December 15, 2022
- 2023 Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSIs) for Scholars Exchange Program – Application Deadline: December 23, 2022 – aimed at faculty and practitioners.
- 2023 The Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators (for teachers)- Application Deadline: December 23, 2022 – aimed at secondary school teachers and administrators.

Note: All youth exchanges are non-degree programs and therefore it is up to the institution/university to determine whether any credits accumulated during the program would be considered for evaluation/promotion of the participating students once they return from the United States and resume their education in India. The candidate should be prepared that this may delay their graduation from their home university by 6 weeks to one year depending on the duration of the exchange program.
