The call aims to promote research related to sustainability, specifically in the following SDGs: SDG 3 (good health and well-being), SDG 4 (quality education), SDG 7 (affordable and clean energy), SDG 11 (sustainable cities and communities) and SDG 13 (climate action).

2. ThinkSwiss Research Scholarships 2023
These scholarships open doors for students from India, Australia and Singapore to the world of Swiss academia that combines high quality curriculum with innovative thinking. Masters students or undergraduate students who have completed their 2nd year and are currently enrolled in an Indian university or institution are eligible to apply. It is open to students from all fields, with an acceptance letter from a professor at a Swiss university or institution for a research stay in his/her group. The scholarships can be availed for a duration of three months between April and December 2023.

3. EPFLeaders4impact call
EPFLeaders4impact is a postdoctoral fellowship programme funding talented researchers who have the ambition to provide innovative solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is open to applicants in any discipline included in the research areas of EPFL. Applicants are free to choose their project topic, which must address at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

4. 52nd St. Gallen Symposium Global Essay Competition
The St. Gallen Symposium has provided a platform for over 52 years, where representatives from different generations gather to exchange knowledge, perspectives, and opinions on the world’s most significant issues. It believes that by joining the expertise of today’s decision-makers with the visions and ideas of brilliant young minds through thoughtful dialogue, it can facilitate meaningful change and assist in navigating the unprecedented economic, political, social and environmental challenges facing the world today. It is the world’s leading initiative for cross generational debates on economic, political, and social developments.
Part of the St. Gallen Symposium is the Global Essay Competition, aimed at graduate and post-graduate students (maximum age: 30 years). To participate they will have to write an essay, which revolves around this year’s theme “A New Generational Contract”.
The 100 best submissions to the Global Essay Competition will qualify as Leaders of Tomorrow. They will get the unique opportunity to participate at the St. Gallen Symposium in an all-expenses covered trip to Switzerland with like-minded people. They will get a chance to challenge the status quo, spark ideas, and inspire action through various activities such as panel discussions with current senior leaders across diverse sectors.
