The Office of Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India is facilitating the Chevening Adani Scholarships for Indian students for a one-year master’s degree in the UK, in courses related to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Chevening Adani Scholarships:
Chevening (FCDO) and the Adani Group have partnered to sponsor 5 scholars from India who will study for a one-year master’s degree in the UK, in courses related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). The scholars can choose to study at any registered university in the UK. Artificial Intelligence is an emerging critical sector in India and from improving people’s lives to optimising business outcomes, AI is reshaping the world. Scholars may choose AI in health, education, governance, and policy-making – the list is endless and the impact enormous.

Chevening Scholarships & Fellowships
Scholarships are given to outstanding Indian graduates for a one-year master’s degree, to study any subject, at any recognised university in the UK. This year they hope to send more scholars to the UK as the Adani Group has partnered with Chevening to co-sponsor 5 scholars who will study a one-year master’s course in Artificial Intelligence. In addition, the State Government of Jharkhand will co-sponsor 5 Chevening scholars belonging to the minority groups in Jharkhand.
Fellowships are bespoke courses aimed at mid-to-senior level professionals who are looking to expand their knowledge and expertise in their specific field of work. The programmes are tailored, short courses which usually run for 8-11 weeks at a designated UK University.
The application window for Chevening Scholarships & Fellowships is now open (2 Aug – 1 Nov 2022).
Selected scholars will begin their master’s degree in Sep 2023.
