Dear Students,
We are pleased to inform about the Future Research Talent (FRT) program (2023). The program will be exclusive to students at Australian National University’s partner institutions. It will provide you with an opportunity to travel to ANU in 2023 to pursue collaborative research projects. Each FRT scholar will receive AUD$7,000 to support their travel to Canberra and cover living costs in ANU.
FRT program is designed primarily to support senior undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students who have demonstrated excellent research capabilities and conducted a reasonable level of research work in their studies.
Candidate Eligibility To be eligible for an FRT travel award, the candidate must:
- – be a citizen of India residing in India;
- – be able to demonstrate a high level of academic ability and research potential;
- – be enrolled in a program at a collaborating institution in India which includes a research component;
- – be nominated for award consideration by a collaborating Indian institution specified by the Colleges;
- – be seeking to undertake a research project in one of the specific fields of research proposed by the Colleges; and,
- – have not previously received an FRT travel award from the Colleges.
Interested candidates are requested to submit the below-mentioned documents before the nomination deadline.
- Copy of their most recent transcripts
- Statement of Purpose – Brief about the research work that you want to pursue in ANU and its complementary nature.
- Approval from the faculty advisor and HoD
- An updated resume/CV.
Nomination Deadline – 26 September 2022
Applications Deadline – 31 October 2022.
Nominated students will receive an email with the Nomination ID and the application link with instructions to fill in the application.
