Speakers
Here are the Keynote Speakers
Pre-Conference Workshop
HVAC&R sectors shared about 2% of the total CO2 equivalent emissions. European F-gas regulation and the Kigali Amendment of the Montreal Protocol have mandated to reduce CO2 equivalent emissions from the refrigeration sector across globe. India is committed to phase-out HCFC class refrigerants causing the ozone layer depletion (ODP). In addition, the phase-down of HFC refrigerants, having high global warming potential (GWP), will commence soon. The transition to sustainable technologies may be challenging for Indian HVAC sector without technology transfer or research. Recent advancements in technology and safety standards have made it feasible to transition to natural refrigerants for long-term solutions with zero ODP and low GWP. Natural refrigerants are cost-effective, widely available and possess excellent thermodynamic properties.
This workshop aims to disseminate knowledge on natural refrigerants- based systems and their potential applications with expert input from India.
Expected participants include HVAC component manufacturers, suppliers, practicing engineers, consultants, industry professionals, researchers, and students, all poised to benefit from this emerging technology in the field of Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC&R) sector.
Paper Submission
Authors are required to send the full paper in the prescribed format, as provided in the template. All papers will be reviewed to ensure high standards. Authors are required to submit the revised manuscript in the prescribed format addressing all the review comments to the Technical Committee for final acceptance.
Papers from Industry Personnel/Consultants
Industry personnel and consultants in HVAC&R field can submit papers in the prescribed format by email (ncrac2024@gmail.com). All such papers will be peer reviewed by a panel comprising of experts from both Academia and Industry. Authors are required to submit the revised manuscript in the prescribed format addressing all the review comments to the Technical Committee for final acceptance. Separate sessions will be scheduled for presentation of these papers. Presentations comprising of field experience, case studies, new developments/trends, etc. are welcomed in this session.
Publication
Selected papers in NCRAC 2024 will be considered for publication in reputed Scopus-indexed Journals. Most of the manuscripts presented in the previous edition (NCRAC 2022), met the quality criteria and were published in reputed journals. This time selected manuscripts will be considered for special issues in Thermal Science and Engineering Progress (IF:4.56) and Heat Transfer Engineering (IF:2.43) journals and for fast-track mode processing in Sadhana (IF:1.21).
